Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Every time our family goes to Hilton Head we must visit Fiesta Fresh! Our teenagers are incredibly health-conscious and they make certain we eat here as often as the budget allows. We start with cool Horchata drinks and warm chips with a delicious queso sauce. My daughter and I have the salad with chicken or shrimp and cilantro dressing. Both the chicken and shrimp were cooked to perfection. My husband never fails to order his chicken quesadilla with guacamole and sour cream. Our boys enjoy their burritos and soft taco platters immensely. The guacamole is so FRESH, the refried beans are well seasoned and the rice flavorful.

So pleased! So FRESH! We've been looking for good food at an affordable price. Fiesta Fresh is just that. We ordered the #10 chicken with tortillas combination (grilled meat topped with FRESH pico de gallo, along with lettuce, sour cream and FRESH guacamole). The #11 Steak Fajitas combination (Steak, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes grilled with a picante sauce). We also ordered some extra guacamole and sour cream. Both combinations were served with your choice of corn or flour tortillas (very warm!), Mexican seasoned rice (very moist, flavorful), and choice of fried beans (aka refried beans or refritos) or black beans. Oh my! The fried beans are fantastic! Just like they've been cooked all day in a slow cooker- they had CHARACTER! They weren't puréed to death! Yum! The combos were also served with hot chips which were not salted to death like some other places! It was so great so be able to see some of the food preparation through the service window- meat grilled well, actually scooping out fresh avocados to make up the guacamole! My only criticism is that the steak for the fajitas was not as tender as it could have been, but it was lean, had great marinated and grilled flavors and still very tasty! The atmosphere is as other reviewers mentioned being very casual and essentially like a fast food, with counter ordering, fountain drinks being self service, etc. However one real highlight is the FRESH MADE SALSA/ Topping bar: fresh pico de gallo, mild and hot salsas, salsa verde, diced onion, jalapeño slices, lemon wedges, and even FRESH CILANTRO! Overall it was a great fresh experience and it was very affordable! Thanks! We'll be back

Cut to the chase: save your money and go to Q'Doba. I specifically chose this place because it was the ONLY place around with 5 stars and I wanted a no brainer. Boy was I wrong. We usually aren't ones that go in right before a place closes but we had no choice because we just got into town. We got in at 8:18 (they close at 9) and half of the seats were on the tables. That should've been our first sign. When I got up to the register after waiting in line, the lady at the register answers the phone and continues taking an order from someone on the phone; completely ignoring me. I waited for a couple of minutes and a young man finally asks what I would like. (This young man was helpful) I ordered from him but he was not on a register so he then had to relay my order to the woman at the register. I asked for the chorizo burrito with queso instead of enchilada sauce on top. I paid and we sat down. I got back up to get chips (the people I was with got chips with their meal) and when I asked the lady for chips she looked at me like I was crazy. She finally gave them to me and I sat back down. We got our food and my burrito had enchilada sauce on it. The guy remembered that I asked for cheese sauce so he grabbed it real quick and went back and put cheese on top of the enchilada sauce. SMH We also couldn't find utensils because they were normally on the side of the store that they closed. We finally got to eat after we got our utensils from the workers. I thought everything would be great because everyone said how "fresh" everything was. On the contrary, everything tasted pretty bland. The best thing at our table was the chorizo salad with the cilantro dressing. Everything else: meh. I'd rather go to Moe's or Q'Doba. Especially for the price.

Great experience here in HH. Fantastic food and great customer service! Searched for a Mexican restaurant on Yelp and it suggested Fiesta Fresh. We were not disappointed. Get a Fiesta salad with the cilantro dressing. The dressing is amazing.

The food was great, very fresh. No service more like a fast food but really good. Lots of salsas and condiments. Reasonable and very courteous staff.

Good food, ok price, but it is still a fast food place were you order at the counter from an numbered menu board, not a 5 star location. We take kids here and are pleased with the food and staff.

Best Mexican place I have ever been too! We are regulars here and we love it for the authentic no-frills Mexican food. Good prices for the abundance of food they give you. Five stars!!!!

We found this restaurant by reading the yelp reviews. It did not disappoint! The service was fast and friendly. The prices were very good. The food was outstanding! The chicken burrito was excellent--rice, beans, chicken, guacamole all rolled together to make a perfect dinner. The free chips and salsa bar were a nice touch too. Too bad they don't have a Fiesta Fresh in every major city of the U.S.!

This place has great fresh Mexican food at an incredible price. It's quick and it's authentic. You'll get full and you won't pay a mortgage to do so. I definitely recommend it.

The Best Ever !!! This place is authentic yummy !! I love the fiesta burrito with sour cream inside black beans and enchilada sauce over the top with a hint of cheese :) WoW soooo good .. I would eat here everyday $$ .. The customer service is great .. It is family owned and they do a good job remembering who you are and what you like to order :) There is another one in the south end of island .. Just as good .. I usually stop there on my way to the beach :)

Staff super friendly and great food. Atmosphere not so great. This place is very casual. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. I saw a couple other locations on the island as well.

Fresh food in a dinner place and that is good to my family's tummy. The flan made by the chef is excellent and gave me tips on how to make it. It's a family owned place and everyone is friendly and they make the food as you like it. The chips and salsa are good. Good for a quick snack, that is what we did. Thank you to the team at fiesta fresh.... Will come back for sure
